All rods split into two sections and include a cloth bag. Packed lengths range from 127 to 144 cm, with the 2.4 m 50–150 g model packing shortest, so check the individual transport length before choosing a storage space.

The 242 15-40 model measures 2.4 m, is rated for 15–40 g and weighs 180 g. Its full grip suits light coastal lure fishing with small pirks or softbaits for coalfish, mackerel and smaller cod. The 272 20-50g model measures 2.7 m, is rated for 20–50 g and weighs 210 g, offering a longer option for light to medium saltwater spinning near the coast.
The 242 50-150g model measures 2.4 m, is rated for 50–150 g and weighs 250 g. It has a split grip and suits medium-weight pirks and softbaits in deeper water. The 272 75-150 model measures 2.7 m, is rated for 75–150 g and weighs 300 g. Its full grip and longer blank suit pirking for cod, coalfish and pollack. Compared with the 2.4 m 50–150 g version, it adds length and weight and starts at a higher lure rating.
The 242 100-250g model measures 2.4 m, is rated for 100–250 g and weighs 260 g. Choose this version for heavy pirking and deeper water, including fishing in Norway or Iceland. Select by lure weight first, then compare length, grip layout and rod weight.
All models have seven PENN Dura-Guides including the tip. These one-piece stainless steel guides have no ceramic inserts, removing a fragile component from the line path. The EVA handle with X-shrink tube provides grip and an easy-to-clean surface. A graphite reel seat in DPS Type design holds the spinning reel in place. All versions have a Gloss Grey finish.
