The fast gear access sideplate lets you service the machine-cut marine-grade bronze main gear and hardened stainless steel pinion quickly, without needing a workbench. The Versa-Drag system with HT-100 washers provides smooth, consistent braking power up to 13.6 kg, while the 7-bearing system (6 shielded stainless steel ball bearings plus an instant anti-reverse bearing) ensures reliable performance.

Live Spindle Design for Long, Effortless Casts

The live spindle with free-floating spool reduces friction during the cast, allowing your bait or lure to travel farther with less effort. Line capacity rings on the spool give you a quick visual reference, so you know exactly how much line you have left when fighting a fish.
