The Okuma Pulzar Baitfeeder series is built for carp and bottom-fishing setups where a controlled freespool system and solid reel construction matter. Both variants combine a 4.5:1 gear ratio, 12kg max drag, a graphite body and an aluminum spool, plus a graphite spare spool for flexible session use.
The Pulzar uses an auto-switch freespool system that lets fish take line smoothly before you engage the main drag. This makes the reel line suitable for bolt rigs, baitrunner-style presentations and general static carp fishing from the bank.
Shared features across the range include 5+1 bearings, a corrosion-resistant graphite body, a machined aluminum spool, brass pinion gear, solid aluminum bail wire and an anti-reverse system. The folding aluminum handle and wooden knob keep the reel practical and comfortable in day-to-day use.
The 6000 offers 80cm line retrieve per turn and suits anglers who want a slightly more compact option. The 7000 increases retrieve to 87cm per turn and is the larger choice in the range for heavier carp work and more line pickup per handle turn.
