The INC-8000 is larger and heavier (533g vs 460g), with higher max drag (16kg vs 12kg) and greater line retrieve per turn (123cm vs 104cm). Choose the 6000 for light to medium lures, and the 8000 for larger baits and longer casts.
The graphite body and sealed bearing system offer good corrosion resistance for light saltwater fishing (sea trout, light bass). For heavy saltwater, consider fully sealed or stainless-steel models.
The Quick-Set system requires minimal maintenance. Clean the reel regularly with a soft cloth after use, especially after saltwater sessions. Avoid forcing the anti-reverse lever.
INC-6000: 0.30–0.35mm monofilament capacity. INC-8000: 0.33–0.38mm. Both handle braided lines in the same diameter range. Check your rod's rating to ensure balanced setup.
These reels come right-hand wind standard. Some aftermarket left-hand conversion kits are available, though factory support is limited. Contact Okuma directly for conversion availability.

The INC series delivers refined performance in a lightweight package. These front-drag reels combine a corrosion-resistant graphite body with precision aluminum components, ideal for European anglers targeting trout, pike, and perch. Both sizes feature smooth oscillation and reliable drag systems for confident all-day fishing.
Machined aluminum spools and solid bail wire ensure durability in variable conditions. The graphite body resists salt spray and impacts, while the sealed bearings maintain smooth retrieval over time.
Progressive brake systems provide precise line control from light takes to powerful runs. Even line retrieval minimizes twist and tangling, crucial for both spinning lures and live baits.
Fully sealed internals and machined brass pinion gears reduce maintenance. Quick-Set anti-reverse offers instant strike response without manual lever fuss.
