The Epixor range is designed for active spinning with lures such as spinners, spoons, wobblers and soft baits. It is aimed at perch, trout and, in the stronger model, light to medium zander fishing.
Choose the 2.1m 3–18g rod for lighter lures, finesse fishing and tighter spaces. Choose the 2.76m 10–32g rod when you want more casting distance, more line control and a wider lure range.
Yes. The Seaguide XO guides use zirconium inserts that are intended to reduce friction, which is helpful when fishing braided line regularly.
Okuma uses a biaxially oriented polypropylene film to help protect the carbon blank from surface damage during fishing and transport.

The Okuma Epixor series is built for active lure fishing with a slim, light and well-balanced blank. These spinning rods suit anglers who want clean lure control, reliable casting behaviour and practical transport length for perch, trout and light to medium zander fishing.
The blank uses 30/36-ton carbon and a Bopp (biaxially oriented polypropylene) protective film that helps shield the carbon surface during use and transport. This gives the rod a crisp, responsive feel without making it cumbersome over a full session.
Seaguide XO anti-tangle guides with zirconium inserts are designed to keep braided line running smoothly and to reduce friction. The ergonomic touch-blank reel seat and AAA-grade cork handle give direct contact with the blank for better lure feedback.
Across the range, Epixor rods are suited to modern spinning techniques with spoons, spinners, wobblers and soft baits. The shorter version is the more finesse-oriented choice for lighter lures and tighter water, while the longer rod adds casting reach and line control when you need a broader operating window.
Both models are two-piece rods, making them easier to carry and store than a one-piece blank. Okuma also includes a velvet rod bag, and the rubber cork end cap helps keep the rod balanced in hand.
