Yes. Every model includes an aluminium spare spool alongside its machined aluminium main spool. You can prepare another line setup on the spare and change spools instead of respooling the main spool.
No. The graphite body is corrosion-resistant, and the sideplates and rotor are also graphite, but the supplier still requires regular cleaning, checks of the moving parts and maintenance according to the manufacturer's instructions. Clean particularly after saltwater exposure and store the reel dry, rather than treating corrosion resistance as a saltwater-use rating.

The Okuma Aventa Baitfeeder is a front-drag fixed-spool reel with an on/off, automatic-trip baitfeeding system. The freespool function lets a fish take line before you engage the fighting drag, making it suited to stationary bait fishing, including carp fishing. Four models offer different line capacities, retrieve rates, weights and maximum drag strengths.
The 6+1RB (roller bearing) system supports smooth winding, while the Quick Set anti-reverse roller bearing prevents backward rotation. A precision machine-cut brass pinion gear and slow-oscillation precision gearing provide the drive and controlled spool movement for line lay. All four models have a 4.8:1 gear ratio, but retrieve per handle turn increases with model size.
The machined aluminium spool features LCS (Line Control Spool) line control to support longer casts. A metal line clip provides a reference for controlling casting distance. These features matter when placing a bait repeatedly at a chosen spot.
The graphite body is corrosion-resistant. The sideplates and rotor are also made from graphite. The One-Touch handle has a wood knob for winding, and an aluminium spare spool is included. The spare lets you prepare a second line setup without buying another spool.

Match the reel to your rod, line and fishing method, secure it firmly in the reel seat and check the drag, handle, spool and line guide before use. Do not use a damaged reel. Clean it regularly with a soft cloth, particularly after saltwater exposure, and follow the manufacturer's lubrication and maintenance instructions.
