Matrix Submerge Shock Leader Monofilament is a dark brown shock-leader line for fishing swims with snags or rocky bottoms. Its highly abrasion-resistant monofilament construction is designed for these demanding contact areas. The supplier also identifies carp fishing as an intended use.
The line is described as extremely durable and sinks quickly, helping the leader settle below the surface. Abrasion resistance is particularly relevant where the line may contact obstacles or rock. All three versions share these properties and come on 100 m spools.
The 0.26 mm version is rated at 3.6 kg (8 lb), the 0.28 mm version at 4.5 kg (10 lb), and the 0.30 mm version at 5.4 kg (12 lb). The thinnest option has the lowest rated breaking strain, the middle option increases both, and the thickest provides the highest rated breaking strain in the range. Choose the diameter and rating to suit your setup rather than spool length, which is the same for every version. Each purchase includes one 100 m spool in the selected specification.
Fishing line poses a strangulation hazard. Store and use it responsibly, especially around children, to prevent accidental entanglement.
