The smooth rotation of the swivel ball bearing allows your leader to spin freely around the mainline connection point, absorbing any rotation caused by casting or feeder movement without transferring it to your line.
Snap link swivels are used to connect your mainline to your leader or to attach feeder feeders and floats in coarse fishing. They allow quick changeovers and prevent line twist during casting.
