Matrix MXC-3 Barbless Bait Bands Rigs are pre-tied hooklengths for method or pellet feeder fishing for coarse fish. Each 10 cm hooklength combines Power Micron monofilament, a sharp barbless hook and a Matrix bait band for presenting pellets or dumbbell boilies without tying the rig yourself.
The MXC-3 hooks have a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating and an out-turned eye that improves hair-rig presentation. The durable bait bands are tied using Jamie Hughes’ band-in-a-loop method. Holding the band in a loop improves bait presentation and prolongs the life of the band, making this construction useful when fishing banded hookbaits.
