The Matrix Horizon X Ultra Pro Slim feeder rods are developed with European consultants for light freshwater feeder fishing at short to medium range. Their slim, lightweight Japanese carbon blanks help reduce hook pulls when fishing for small fish with small hooks and light line. Supplier-listed targets include roach, bream, tench, barbel and smaller carp.
Ultra-high modulus carbon provides quick recovery after casting. The slim black EVA handle has an ultra-lightweight carbon reel seat to keep the handle assembly light. Silicon nitride guides provide smooth line passage. The 3.0m version has 13 Sea Guide XQG RS Silicon Nitride guides, while the 3.3m and 3.5m versions have 14 and 15 Sea Guide XQG - XQG-W RS Silicon Nitride guides respectively.
The 3.0m 25g version weighs 138 g and packs down to 153 cm, making it the lightest and shortest option for transport. The 3.3m 30g version weighs 152 g with a 169 cm transport length. The 3.5m 35g version weighs 156 g and packs down to 179 cm. Increasing length also increases the casting-weight rating, but requires more storage space.
