Select the size based on your pole tip's outer diameter. Smaller sizes (6–8, 8–10) fit thinner tips used for lighter rigs and delicate presentations on small fish. Mid-range sizes (10–12, 12–14) are versatile for general freshwater coarse fishing. Larger sizes (16–18) fit thicker pole tips and are ideal for heavier lines and larger species. If unsure, measure your pole tip diameter in millimetres and match it to the size marking.
