The Matrix Aquos Ultra-XD feeder rod series is built for long casts with heavy Method Feeder setups. These rods combine strong carbon blanks, oversized forward-facing guides, and supplied carbon tips to help keep control at distance.
The Aquos Ultra-XD range is aimed at anglers who need to cast heavy feeders well out into the water. The blanks are designed for demanding feeder work, where casting stability and reserve power matter.
Forward-facing oversized guides support smoother line flow during the cast. The carbon fibre blank gives these rods the firm backbone needed for bigger feeders while still keeping bite indication practical with interchangeable carbon tips.
Each rod is supplied with two 3.4 mm carbon tips. A subtle hook keeper is fitted on every model, and the cork and EVA handle gives a durable grip for repeated casting sessions.
Choose the 3.7 m 130 g version for a lighter long-range setup, the 4.0 m 160 g version for added casting power, or the 4.2 m 190 g version for the heaviest feeders and the greatest distance demands.
These rods contain carbon fibres, which conduct electricity. Do not use them during thunderstorms or near overhead power lines.
