It is designed for freshwater catfish fishing with clonk teasers. The extra-soft fluorescent green tip registers subtle bites and is easy to see, helping you monitor the take during vertical teaser presentations.
Start with the lure rating: 1.80 m covers 100–150 g, 2.10 m covers 150–200 g and 2.40 m covers 200–250 g. Then compare handling weight, which rises from 226 g to 264 g and 323 g. The shortest version is the lightest, while the longest offers the highest stated rating at the cost of greater weight and packed length.
All versions have two sections. Transport lengths are 93 cm for the 1.80 m rod, 110 cm for the 2.10 m rod and 124 cm for the 2.40 m rod. Check your available storage length against these measurements, as the longer fishing lengths also take up more room when packed.
The hard EVA full grip is covered with X-wrap anti-slip shrink tube for a secure hold. The ergonomic SeaGuide reel seat uses a dual locking nut system to secure the reel, so both the grip surface and reel fastening are designed to support control during a fight.

The Madcat White Clonk Teaser is a freshwater catfish rod for fishing with clonk teasers. Its extra-soft, fluorescent green tip makes subtle bites easier to detect, combining sensitivity with a clearly visible tip for watching the take during vertical presentations.
The full grip uses hard EVA covered with X-wrap anti-slip shrink tube, helping you keep a secure hold while handling the rod and fighting fish. An ergonomic SeaGuide reel seat with a dual locking nut system holds the reel securely in place. An EVA butt completes the handle.
Each rod has a 30TC nano-carbon blank, Medium Fast action and Medium Heavy power. Lightweight SeaGuide guides carry the line, with Seaguide XB specified as the guide type. The rods have a white finish and are lighter than their predecessors.
All three versions share the same sensitive-tip design and two-piece construction. Match the stated lure rating to your teaser weight, then compare rod length, rod weight and packed length. Moving up the range gives you a longer rod and a higher weight rating, but also adds rod weight and requires more transport space.
