The UV SERIES SPIN is a freshwater catfish spinning rod for accurate casts with heavy lures over long distances. Its 24T Carbon blank is designed to tire large catfish, with a 40–150 g lure rating across all three lengths.
Every version has Medium Fast action and Medium Heavy power. EVA forms the handle and butt, giving you contact surfaces for casting and playing fish. Seven Aluminum Oxide guides, including the tip, route the line, while a SeaGuide XSS17-MN17 reel seat holds the reel.
The Fluorescent Green UV finish is UV-active and lights up under a UV lamp or UV headlamp. This makes the rod easier to locate during night sessions when illuminated with UV light, rather than implying that it glows on its own.
The 2.1 m version weighs 270 g and packs down to 110 cm, making it the lightest and most compact option. The 2.4 m version weighs 300 g with a 125 cm transport length, offering the middle choice in reach and carrying size. The 2.7 m version provides the greatest reach but weighs 360 g and needs 140 cm of transport space. All three share the same lure rating, so extra length does not increase the maximum lure weight. Each rod separates into two sections and is supplied in a rod bag.
