The MADCAT UV SERIES DELUXE catfish rods are built for freshwater distance fishing with a 100–250 g casting weight. The 24T Carbon blank, heavy-duty guides and large reel seat provide a setup for heavy rigs and large reels.
Both lengths have Heavy power and a Medium Fast action. A fighting grip supports handling during the fight, with EVA on the handle and butt. The large DPS Type reel seat accommodates large reels, while aluminium oxide guides carry the line under load.
The Fluorescent Green UV finish lights up under a UV lamp or UV headlamp, helping you locate the rod in darkness. UV illumination is required for this effect.
The 290 model is 2.90 m long, weighs 450 g and has seven guides including the tip. Its 153 cm transport length makes it the lighter, more compact option. The 320 model offers 3.20 m of rod length, weighs 480 g and has eight guides including the tip. Choose it when you prefer the extra length for distance fishing, allowing for its additional weight and 163 cm transport length. Both have the same 100–250 g casting weight and two-piece construction, so the longer rod does not increase the stated casting-weight limit. Both are supplied in a rod bag.
