All models have two sections. Packed lengths are 110 cm for the 210, 125 cm for the 240, 140 cm for the 270 and 156 cm for the 300. Check that length against your available carrying space before choosing.

The MADCAT BLACK SPIN series comprises freshwater spinning rods for actively fishing for catfish with artificial lures and natural baits. The sensitive, powerful 24T carbon blank combines balance with the strength needed for setting hooks and controlling fish. All four versions have a 40–150 g casting weight, Medium Fast action and Medium Heavy power.
The lightweight, ergonomically shaped SeaGuide® XSS reel seat and shrink-tube-covered handle provide a comfortable, secure grip during repeated casting and retrieving. The full EVA grip ends in a rubber butt. Each black rod has seven Seaguide guides including the tip guide.
The 210 (2.1 m, 245 g) and 240 (2.4 m, 305 g) suit fishing from boats, belly boats and confined banks. The 210 is the lighter, shorter option, while the 240 adds length at a higher weight. Their transport lengths are 110 and 125 cm respectively.
The 270 (2.7 m, 350 g) and 300 (3 m, 395 g) suit bank fishing and long casts. The 300 offers the longest rod but also the greatest weight and packed length. Transport lengths are 140 cm for the 270 and 156 cm for the 300. All versions separate into two sections, so choose with both fishing space and carrying space in mind.
The 210 uses the SeaGuide XSS16-MN16 reel seat. The 240, 270 and 300 use the SeaGuide XSS17-MN17.
