It is designed for catfish fishing with a baitfish and a Madcat Adjustable Subfloat in fast-flowing freshwater. The subfloat provides buoyancy for this presentation, so the rig is intended for a baitfish setup rather than lure fishing.
The 2/0 version has 20 g of buoyancy, while the larger 3/0 treble is paired with 40 g. Choose by the hook size and upward lift needed for your baitfish presentation. Both rigs are 250 cm long and have the same stated breaking strain of approximately 74.84 kg.
The clip holds the baitfish in place instead of a conventional nose hook, leaving the treble to hook the catfish. Madcat states that this improves the hook-up rate, so the clip is a functional part of the baitfish mounting system rather than an additional hook.
Each pack contains one tied rig in the selected version. Choose either the 2/0 and 20 g combination or the 3/0 and 40 g combination. A pack does not contain both versions.

This ready-made catfish rig is designed for presenting a baitfish with a Madcat Adjustable Subfloat in fast-flowing freshwater. Its nose clip replaces a conventional nose hook, leaving the treble hook to hook the fish. Madcat describes this arrangement as improving the hook-up rate.
The nose clip secures the baitfish without using a nose hook. The adjustable subfloat provides buoyancy for the presentation. Choose the variant by its combination of treble size and buoyancy rather than by hook size alone.
Both versions are tied with Madcat Ultra-Soft monofilament and have a total rig length of 250 cm. The stated breaking strain is approximately 74.84 kg. The listed colour is Transparent White. Each pack contains one rig.
The 2/0 version has 20 g of buoyancy. The 3/0 version combines a larger treble with 40 g of buoyancy, giving more upward lift. Select the combination of hook size and lift required for your baitfish presentation. Rig length and breaking strain are the same for both versions.
