It is designed for bottom fishing for catfish in fast-flowing freshwater rivers with 15–17 cm live baitfish, such as small carp. The Adjusta Subfloat adds buoyancy to lift the bait off the bottom, making this a river baitfish presentation rather than a lure rig.
The 20 g buoyancy version has front/back hook sizes 1/0 and 6/0, the 40 g version has 2/0 and 8/0, and the 60 g version has 3/0 and 10/0. Choose the combination for the hook sizes and lift you need. All share the same 160 cm, 1.00 mm, 100 lb mono leader, so more buoyancy does not mean more leader strength.
Each pack contains one finished rig tied from Madcat Ultra-soft Mono Leader, with hooks and an Adjusta Subfloat. You receive the assembled leader rather than a spool of line or a three-rig assortment, so select the hook and buoyancy combination you want when ordering.

This ready-made catfish rig is designed for bottom fishing in fast-flowing freshwater rivers with live baitfish measuring 15–17 cm, such as a small carp. Its Madcat Adjusta Subfloat provides buoyancy to lift the bait away from the riverbed. The pre-tied construction saves you from tying the leader yourself.
Every version is 160 cm long and tied with 1.00 mm Madcat Ultra-soft Mono Leader line rated at 100 lb (approximately 45.36 kg). These specifications remain the same across the family, so changing the hook and subfloat combination does not change the leader length, diameter or strength. The supplier specifies the colour as Transparent White.
The 20 g buoyancy version has a front hook in size 1/0 and a back hook in size 6/0. The 40 g version pairs a 2/0 front hook with an 8/0 back hook. The 60 g version pairs a 3/0 front hook with a 10/0 back hook. Choose between these combinations according to the hook sizes and lift required for your bait presentation. Higher buoyancy comes with larger hooks, not a stronger leader. The stated 15–17 cm baitfish range applies to all three versions.
Each pack contains one rig with an Adjusta Subfloat. The supplier lists transport lengths of 185 cm for the 20 g version, 200 cm for the 40 g version and 160 cm for the 60 g version. These are separate from the stated 160 cm fishing length shared by all versions.
