They are designed for soft lures used in pelagic freshwater catfish fishing. The T-shaped treble is intended to lie as flat as possible on the lure's back, so choose it when building a softbait setup with this hook placement.
1/0 is the smallest option, 2/0 the middle option and 3/0 the largest. All share the same T-shaped construction, 4X strength and coating. Choose by the hook size your soft lure can accommodate, as the supplier does not specify matching lure lengths.
The Japanese-steel hooks combine 4X strength, medium wire thickness and ultra-sharp points. The medium wire balances strength with penetration for setting the hook in a catfish's mouth, rather than relying on thick wire alone.
Each pack contains four loose hooks in one selected size. You receive hooks for assembling a softbait setup, not a pre-tied rig, so select the pack by the hook size you need.

The Madcat A-Static Shad T-Treble 4X is a Japanese-steel treble hook for pelagic catfish fishing in freshwater. Its T-shaped layout is designed to sit as flat as possible on the back of a soft lure, making it a purpose-designed option for rigging softbaits.
The hooks combine 4X strength with ultra-sharp points. Medium wire thickness balances strength with penetration, an important combination when setting the hook in a catfish's mouth. Each hook has an A-Static coating and a black finish.
The range includes 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0, from the smallest to the largest hook size offered here. Choose the size to suit the soft lure and the space available for the hook to lie against its back. The supplier lists tackle weights of 26 g for 1/0, 33 g for 2/0 and 40 g for 3/0, without specifying whether these are per hook or per pack. No matching lure lengths are specified. All three sizes share the same T-shaped design, steel construction and coating.
Each pack contains four hooks in the selected size. These are loose hooks for assembling your softbait setup, not a complete pre-tied rig.
