They are intended for vertical jigging and subfloat rigs in freshwater. The lightweight single hooks have large welded eyes and are supplied loose, so you can use them to build these rigs rather than buying a complete pre-tied setup.
Sizes 4/0 and 6/0 contain five hooks per pack, while 8/0 and 10/0 contain four. All sizes share the Japanese-steel construction, welded eye and antistatic coating, so select the hook size for your rig and allow for the different quantities when buying spares.
The green antistatic rubber coating is designed to minimise the electric field that can spook catfish. It can wear off during fishing, so do not expect the coating to remain unchanged throughout the hook's use.

The Madcat A-Static Jig Hook is an ultra-sharp, lightweight single hook for freshwater catfish fishing. It suits vertical jigging and subfloat rigs, with an antistatic rubber coating designed to minimise the electric field that can spook catfish.
The hooks are made from high-quality Japanese steel and have a large, welded eye for attaching them to your rig. They are supplied as loose hooks for building catfish rigs, rather than as complete pre-tied rigs.
The green rubber coating provides the A-Static treatment. This coating can wear off during fishing, so its condition can change with use.
Sizes 4/0 and 6/0 come in packs of five hooks. Sizes 8/0 and 10/0 come in packs of four. Choose the hook size required for your planned rig and check the pack quantity when preparing several rigs. The supplier lists tackle weights of 23 g for 4/0, 25 g for 6/0, 28 g for 8/0 and 31 g for 10/0. All four sizes share the same construction and stated uses.
