The Madcat Spin Tail is a sinking spin-tail lure for freshwater catfish fishing. Its voluminous, weighted ABS body gives it a slower, higher-running presentation, making it easier to fish slowly. The golf-ball surface creates extra underwater turbulence. It is suited to active fishing in rivers and current, including bank edges, groyne fields and areas around underwater structures.
Two attachment eyes on the back let you switch between casting and jigging with the same lure. Use the front eye for casting and retrieving, and the rear eye for jigging. The stated swimming depth is 1.5–2.5 m for both sizes. The lure sinks, so the higher-running retrieve does not make it a floating or surface lure.
