Korda Shot on the Hook weights are reusable tungsten shots for carp fishing with wafter, bottom-bait and Snowman rigs. By weighting the hook point, they help the hook engage faster and more securely when a carp picks up the bait. The weights featured in the Korda Underwater series.
Pure tungsten provides high density in a small volume, adding weight without a bulky shot. Each shot comes with a small rubber sleeve that holds it securely on the hook.
The family offers 0.30g, 0.40g and 0.50g versions. The 0.30g shot adds the least weight to the hook, 0.40g is the middle option and 0.50g adds the most. Choose according to the amount of additional hook weight your presentation needs. Each pack contains 10 weights in the selected version, not a mixed selection.
Slide the shot off a barbless hook to remove it for reuse. On a barbed hook, flatten the barb before removing the shot.
