Korda Mixa Barbless carp hooks combine a short shank, wide gape and very sharp point for secure hooking. Their construction is designed to let you land large fish on a relatively small, light hook. This model has no barb.
The short shank keeps the hook compact while the wide gape leaves room to take hold. The very sharp point supports hook penetration and is offset rather than inline.
