Choose 0.27 mm for the thinnest mainline at 10 lb, 0.30 mm for the middle option at 12 lb, or 0.33 mm for the highest mainline rating at 15 lb. All have 0.47 mm ends rated at 30 lb, the same transparent green colour and 300 m length. The choice is thinner mainline versus higher stated mainline strength, not a different taper design.
Yes, the reinforced end is part of the mainline, so no separate leader-to-mainline knot is needed for that section. Each end has 8 m of 0.47 mm line followed by a 2 m taper to the chosen mainline diameter. This construction takes casting load for distance fishing, but it does not make the whole rig knot-free.
Yes, both ends have a reinforced section and taper. Reverse the line on the reel spool to use the other intact tapered end after a break. This option depends on the other end still being intact, rather than the damaged end being restored.
It is designed for long casts, with reinforced ends that absorb casting force and an abrasion-resistant taper for contact with the lake bed. Low mainline stretch gives more direct contact at distance, and the line also has low water absorption. Choose the mainline diameter and strength that fit your setup, since all three versions share these features.

Korda LongChuck Tapered Mainline Green is a monofilament carp mainline designed for long casts and fishing at distance. Its reinforced, tapered ends absorb casting force without a separate leader knot. Every version supplies 300 m of transparent green line.
At each end, an 8 m section of 0.47 mm line takes the load of powerful casts. It then tapers over 2 m to the selected mainline diameter. The reinforced taper has high abrasion resistance, which matters when the end section contacts the lake bed. The mainline has low stretch for more direct contact at distance, along with low water absorption.
All three versions share the same length, colour and reinforced ends. Their mainline diameter and stated breaking strain differ:
0.27–0.47 mm, 10–30 lb: the thinnest mainline, with a 10 lb mainline rating.
0.30–0.47 mm, 12–30 lb: the middle option, with a 12 lb mainline rating.
0.33–0.47 mm, 15–30 lb: the thickest mainline, with the highest mainline rating of 15 lb.
Choose between a thinner mainline and a higher stated mainline breaking strain. In every version, the reinforced 0.47 mm ends are rated at 30 lb. These are different sections of one tapered line, not selectable diameters within a spool.
Because both ends have the same taper, you can reverse the line on the reel spool after a break and use the other intact reinforced end. The integrated taper avoids a separate leader-to-mainline knot, not every knot in the rig. The supplied item is 300 m of fishing line in the selected version.
