The clip can be set to cast like a conventional lead clip or fished in Running Style to confuse cautious carp. Running Mode works by removing any pivot that might help the carp eject the hook—the lead slides up the mainline as the fish pulls against it.
For Running Style fishing, the swivel or Kwik Link is not inserted, allowing the lead to slide freely up the mainline. To enable snag release, use the supplied pins to lock the swivel or Kwik Link into the clip. The clip must be wet before application.
