Yes, the supplier names popping up maggots and imitating a floating pellet as uses beyond drilled hookbaits. The sticks can therefore provide buoyancy for a maggot presentation or serve as a pellet imitation at the surface.

Korda Cork Sticks are cork sticks for carp fishing, designed primarily for use with Bait Drills to give hookbaits buoyancy. They let you add lift to different baits rather than changing to a ready-made buoyant hookbait.
Their uses also include popping up maggots and imitating a floating pellet for surface fishing. This gives you options both for adding buoyancy to a bait and for presenting a pellet imitation on the surface.
The range comprises 4mm, 6mm and 8mm versions. Choose the size to suit the bait and the hole prepared with your Bait Drill. The stated size is the difference between variants, with the same intended uses across the range. No specific bait size or amount of lift is stated for any version.
Each pack contains 10 cork sticks in the selected size, not a mixed-size assortment.
