These two-piece spinning rods are designed for sea trout fishing on the coast. The light, sensitive CarbonTech CT blank supports bite detection, while the series is built for long casts, durability and saltwater resistance.
Ultra-light Single High Frame Guides keep guide weight low. The high-grade full cork handle provides grip and comfort during repeated casting, and the screw-down reel seat secures the reel.
The 240 cm ML model covers 5-24 g and weighs 155 g. The 240 cm MH covers 12-35 g at 180 g, offering a higher lure-weight range at the same length. At 270 cm, choose M for 7-28 g and 170 g rod weight, or H for 15-40 g and 200 g. The 300 cm MH covers 10-30 g at 190 g, while the 300 cm H covers 15-40 g at 210 g. ML denotes medium light, M medium, MH medium heavy and H heavy power.
Choose the casting range to suit your lure first, then compare rod length and weight. The H models share a 15-40 g rating, with the 300 cm version adding length and 10 g of rod weight over the 270 cm version.
Both 300 cm versions also suit freshwater trout fishing. The MH is described for coastal wading, beach edges and larger rivers with slim spoons, light wobblers and small to medium softbaits. The H is described for beaches, rocky shores and estuaries with wobblers, spoons and softbaits, including sandeel imitations within its casting range. For the 300 cm H, the supplier recommends a size 3000-4000 fixed-spool reel and medium-strength braid with a fluorocarbon leader.
