It is intended for offshore jigging and pirking for cod, coalfish, ling and other large sea fish, including fishing in Norway and Iceland. Its paddle tail creates pronounced movement as you work the lure, making it an option for these active lure presentations.
Only the stated weight changes, from 150 g through 175 g to 195 g. All three are 15 cm long in olive pearl with a 10/0 VMC jig hook. Choose more weight when depth or drift makes lure contact harder to maintain, or less weight for a lighter presentation. No weight-specific depth ratings are supplied.
Each pack contains one soft lure in the selected weight, already mounted on a strong, very sharp 10/0 VMC jig hook. You do not need to select and fit a separate jig hook to the supplied body.

The Hogy Pro Tail Paddle is a pre-rigged soft lure for jigging and pirking for cod, coalfish, ling, halibut and other large sea fish. Intended for offshore fishing in Norway and Iceland, its paddle tail creates strong underwater action as you work the lure.
Every version is 15 cm long in olive pearl and is UV-active. A strong, very sharp VMC jig hook in size 10/0 is already fitted. Its sharp point helps hook fish on the take, while its strength supports the fight with powerful marine predators. You receive a mounted lure rather than an unrigged replacement body.
Choose between 150 g, 175 g and 195 g while keeping the same length, colour and hook size. The 150 g version is the lightest option, 175 g is the middle weight and 195 g provides the most weight without increasing lure length. More weight generally helps maintain lure contact in deeper water or stronger drift, while less weight allows a lighter presentation. No fixed fishing depths are specified for these weights.
Each pack contains one rigged soft lure in the selected weight.
