They suit shads, soft plastic jigs, creature baits and other soft plastics for perch, zander and pike. The fixed shank weight allows slow retrieves near the bottom, so they can be used for spinning, jigging and bottom fishing with turns of the reel handle.
Choose 3/0 for the smaller hook or 5/0 for the larger hook, checking the fit of your softbait rather than relying on an unspecified lure length. Both sizes come with 1.8 g or 3.5 g. Choose less or more added weight without changing hook size, bearing in mind that the heavier version generally sinks faster with the same lure.
The Twist Lock screw mounts quickly in the head of the softbait. It provides secure retention even during forceful casts and causes little damage to the plastic, helping keep the bait attached when casting repeatedly.
Each pack contains five weighted offset hooks in your selected size and weight. The pack therefore provides five hooks of the same combination, not a mixture of the four variants.

The Gamakatsu Weighted Super Line EWG is a weighted offset hook for fishing soft plastics for perch, zander and pike. Its fixed lead weight sits on the hook shank and allows slow retrieves close to the bottom. The wide-gap design suits shads, soft plastic jigs, creature baits and other soft plastics for spinning, jigging and bottom fishing with turns of the reel handle.
The Twist Lock screw attaches quickly and easily to the head of the softbait. It holds the lure securely during forceful casts while causing little damage to the plastic, making it useful when repeatedly casting the same bait. A sharp hook point supports hook penetration on the strike.
Both 3/0 and 5/0 are available with either 1.8 g or 3.5 g of weight. Choose the smaller 3/0 or larger 5/0 according to the fit of your softbait. No corresponding lure lengths are specified. At either hook size, 1.8 g adds less weight than 3.5 g. With the same lure, the heavier version generally sinks faster, while the lighter version allows a slower descent. You can therefore change the weighting without changing hook size.
Each pack contains five weighted offset hooks in the selected size and weight.
