It is designed for method-feeder fishing for coarse fish, with a strong construction intended for large fish. Choose it for a method setup when you want a strong, barbless hook.
Each pack contains ten hooks in #8, #10, #12 or #14. Size #8 is the largest and #14 the smallest, with #10 and #12 in between. Match the size to your hookbait and rig, as the construction and finish are shared across all four options.
The PTFE coating reduces resistance during penetration, while the absence of a barb allows quick, gentle unhooking. This combination suits fishing where careful hook removal matters, but you should still check the fishery's hook rules.
No. The pack contains ten loose eyed hooks, each with an angled eye. You tie them to your own rig, so choose the size for the setup you intend to build.

The Gamakatsu Pro-C XS Method Eyed A1 PTFE Barbless is an eyed hook for method-feeder fishing for coarse fish. Its strong construction is intended for large fish, while the PTFE coating reduces resistance as the hook enters the fish's mouth.
The sharp, curved point works with the low-friction coating to aid penetration. With no barb, the hook allows quick, gentle removal, making it a suitable choice where careful fish handling matters. The hook has an angled eye for tying your rig and a grey finish.
Choose from #8, #10, #12 and #14. Size #8 is the largest option, #14 the smallest, with #10 and #12 between them. Select the hook size to suit your hookbait and rig, rather than treating the number as a strength rating. All four sizes share the same construction, coating and barbless design. Each pack contains ten loose hooks in the selected size.
