They are designed for dropshot rigs with softbaits for zander, perch and pike. The mounting aid below the eye holds the hook horizontally away from the leader, so choose them for that suspended softbait presentation.
Size #1 is the smallest, #4/0 is intermediate and #8/0 is the largest. Each pack contains three hooks of the selected size with the same mounting aid, so choose by hook size to suit your softbait rather than by pack quantity.
The hooks have sharp points for penetration and strong construction designed to withstand fights with large predators. Together with the horizontal rig position, these features support hooking and holding fish during dropshot fishing.

The Gamakatsu Drop Shot Jig 90 hooks are designed for dropshot fishing with softbaits for zander, perch and pike. A mounting aid below the hook eye makes attachment to the dropshot rig quick and easy. Once mounted, the hook stands horizontally away from the leader, helping present the lure and engage the hook when a fish bites.
The sharp hooks help penetrate a predator's mouth. Their strong construction is designed to withstand fights with large predators, making strength as well as presentation part of the hook's role.
The available sizes are #1, #4/0 and #8/0. Size #1 is the smallest option, #4/0 is intermediate and #8/0 is the largest. Choose the hook size to suit the proportions of your softbait. All three sizes share the dropshot mounting aid and horizontal presentation, so size is the main choice within this family.
Each pack contains three dropshot hooks in the selected size.
