It is intended for surface trout fishing. It joins the main line to the leader and prevents the line from sinking, so it supports a surface presentation rather than a sinking line connection.
Only the colour differs in the supplied specifications. Both versions have visible 15mm pilot balls with the same line-connection function, so choose your preferred colour without changing size or intended use.
Each pack contains five 15mm pilot balls in the selected colour. You receive either five red or five yellow balls, not a mixed-colour pack.

The FTM Wirbel Pilot is a 15mm pilot float for surface trout fishing. It connects the main line to the leader and keeps the line from sinking, maintaining the connection to the bait at the surface.
The pilot balls are easy for the angler to see. Choose red or yellow, with the same 15mm size and line-connection function in both versions. Colour is the only specified difference, so choose your preferred visible colour rather than a different size or function.
Each pack contains five pilot balls, all in the selected colour.
