They add weight to a variety of all-round fishing rigs. The compact teardrop shape helps them sink quickly to the bottom, stabilise casting and hold the rig in place, making them useful when your setup needs weight at the bottom.
Each lead weighs between 1 and 20 g, depending on the variant. Packs contain 10 leads at 1–5 g, 7 at 6–8 g, 6 at 9 g, 5 at 10 g, 4 at 12 or 14 g and 3 at 16, 18 or 20 g. Choose the weight required by your rig, then check the quantity to see how many leads you receive.
No, every variant is teardrop-shaped and lead grey. You can change the weight while keeping the same shape and colour, but the number of leads supplied depends on the weight.

The FTM Tropfenblei range consists of lead-grey teardrop fishing leads for all-round angling and a variety of rigs. Their compact shape helps them sink quickly to the bottom, stabilise the rig during casting and hold it in place once it has settled.
The teardrop form provides compact weight when your rig needs to reach the bottom and stay in position. All variants share this shape and lead-grey colour, so the choice within the range comes down to individual weight and pack quantity.
Choose the individual weight your rig requires. The range runs from 1 to 20 g, with finer steps at the lighter end. Pack quantities decrease as the individual weight increases:
| Individual weight | Leads per pack | | --- | --- | | 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5 or 5 g | 10 | | 6, 7 or 8 g | 7 | | 9 g | 6 | | 10 g | 5 | | 12 or 14 g | 4 | | 16, 18 or 20 g | 3 |
The weight refers to each lead, not the whole pack. Moving to a heavier version adds more weight to the rig but gives you fewer leads per pack. The supplied items are the leads in the quantity listed for the chosen variant.
