FTM Spoon Boogie — Lightweight Trout Spoon That Covers All the Water

The FTM Spoon Boogie is a compact 1.6 g trout spoon (Blinker) built for ultra-light spinning at put-and-take lakes and ponds. In Copper/Blue Dots, it pairs a warm metallic base with contrasting blue spotting that catches light and triggers reaction strikes from trout and perch alike.

Versatile Presentation at Ultra-Light Weight

At 1.6 g the Boogie loads a light UL rod cleanly without sacrificing casting distance. Its slim spoon body flutters and rolls on the retrieve, producing the erratic flash-and-wobble action that stocked trout and opportunistic perch find hard to ignore in clear stillwaters.

Fish It Two Ways

Cast and retrieve on a standard light spinning rod, or clip the Boogie behind a Sbirulino (bubble float) on a dedicated float-spinning rod to reach fish holding further out. The Sbirulino setup also slows the sink rate, letting you work shallower layers without snagging — particularly useful when trout are sitting high in the water column.
