They are intended for spinning and trolling for pike with hardbaits and softbaits. The fitted snap allows quick changes between softbaits, wobblers, inline spinners and spoons, so you can change lure types without replacing the leader.
They differ in rated breaking strain, with 7 kg the lowest, 11 kg intermediate and 18 kg the highest. All are 30 cm long and use brown 49-strand steel wire with a snap and barrel swivel. Select the strength required by your setup, the shared length and fittings do not change.
The 49-strand steel wire resists sharp pike teeth and is very supple. It therefore provides bite protection while having minimal effect on lure action, making it suitable for the supported hardbait and softbait presentations.
It reduces the risk of line twist caused by strongly rotating lures or a pike turning during the fight. It is already fitted to the leader, so this twist-reducing connection is included rather than a separate component you need to add.
Each pack contains two brown leaders in the selected breaking strain, both fitted with a snap and barrel swivel. The brown colour supports an unobtrusive presentation in the water, and the second leader gives you another complete leader of the same specification.
