It is intended for static freshwater fishing and bottom rigs at lakes and rivers. The supplier lists eel, pike, zander, carp and barbel, so its use is not limited to eel fishing despite the model name.
Two sensitive bells respond to small movements of the rod tip and the bright LED provides visual bite indication. You therefore have both audible and visible feedback during dusk and night sessions.
It clips directly to the end of the rod tip. This provides quick attachment at the point where the bells respond to movement, rather than mounting the indicator on a bankstick or rod pod.
The versions are red, green and colour-changing. All have two bells, LED indication and a rod-tip clip, so choose the colour version you want. Each includes one bite indicator with a battery and a double eel bell.

The FTM Doppel Aalglocke mit LED Bissanzeiger is a clip-on bite indicator for static freshwater fishing, including bottom rigs. Two sensitive bells respond to small rod-tip movements, while a bright LED provides visual bite indication in dusk and darkness. This combines audible and visible feedback when the rod tip is difficult to see.
The clip attaches directly to the end of the rod tip for quick mounting. The supplier lists eel, pike, zander, carp and barbel as target species, with use from lake shores and riverbanks. The combination of bells and LED is intended for watching a stationary setup, including night sessions for eel and bottom fishing for predators.
Choose from red, green and colour-changing versions. Colour is the stated difference across the range. Every version has two bells, an LED and the same rod-tip clip attachment, so the choice concerns the colour version rather than a different mounting system or stated fishing application.
Each version includes one bite indicator with a battery and a double eel bell in the selected colour version.
