It is intended for trout holding far out in trout lakes just below the surface. The floating body is fished with a surface rig, while its casting weight and projectile-shaped design support long casts to reach those fish.
Trout dough and spiral lures are explicitly supported examples. Fish them with a surface rig behind the floating bombarde to retrieve the bait just beneath the water surface.
No, all eight versions are described as floating. The available weights are 10, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 30 and 40 g, so choose the casting mass your setup needs rather than treating a heavier version as a sinking option.
The supplier describes the fluorescent red colour as visible even at long distances. This helps you keep the bombarde in sight when fishing for trout far out in the lake.
You receive one bombarde in the selected weight. Each weight is a separate choice, not an assortment of the eight available versions.

The FTM Bombarde is a floating casting float for trout holding far out in a trout lake, just below the surface. Its casting weight and projectile-shaped body support stable flight and long casts, helping you reach those fish with a surface rig.
Use the floating bombarde with a surface rig to retrieve baits such as trout dough or spiral lures just beneath the water surface. This is the intended presentation when trout are holding high in the water rather than near the bottom.
The fluorescent red colour remains visible even at long range, helping you keep the bombarde in sight after a distant cast.
The family includes 10, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 30 and 40 g versions. The 10 and 15 g versions provide the least casting mass, the 18, 20, 22 and 25 g versions sit between them and the heavier 30 and 40 g versions. Choose the casting weight needed for your setup. All versions float and have the same fluorescent red colour, so choosing a heavier version changes the casting mass, not the stated floating behaviour. Each pack contains one bombarde in the selected weight.
