Choose the 2 Rod Set for two rods, the 3 Rod Set for three or the 4 Rod Set for four. Each contains the corresponding number of wireless alarms and protective covers plus one receiver. The rod count determines your choice, while batteries must be purchased separately.
Yes. Eight sensitivity settings with See-Saw elimination help reduce false indications, while eight volume levels include a silent setting and eight tones let you adjust pitch. The night mode keeps both LEDs subtly lit in your chosen colour. Adjust sensitivity to the conditions rather than relying on one setting for every session.
Use the range-test function to check that the RX+ Receiver picks up the alarm at your intended position. The receiver offers adjustable volume, vibration and a bivvy-light function, so you have several forms of indication. No fixed transmission distance is supplied, so test the actual position before relying on reception there.
The alarms screw onto banksticks, rod pods or buzzer bars using their 3/8-inch stainless steel threads. A 2.5 mm power-out socket supports illuminated Swingers. Check these connections against your existing setup, and keep unused sockets sealed to maintain water resistance.
Each alarm uses two AA batteries and the receiver uses three AA batteries, none are included. The receiver shows battery status at switch-on and warns of its own low voltage and low voltage in a paired alarm. Cyan LEDs flag low batteries, so check both alarms and receiver when preparing for a session. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
Yes. The alarms have weatherproof sealed cases for wet and cold bankside conditions. Rubber socket seals must remain in place when the sockets are unused to preserve water resistance. Protective covers are included for each alarm, and the equipment should be protected from drops and heavy impacts.

The Fox RX+ Micron wireless bite alarm sets monitor two, three or four stationary carp rods and transmit bite signals to an included receiver. Adjustable volume, tone and sensitivity let you adapt the indication to the conditions, while the receiver brings the signal into the bivvy when wind or rain makes the alarms outside harder to hear.
The 2 Rod Set includes two wireless alarms, two protective covers and one receiver. The 3 Rod Set includes three alarms, three covers and one receiver. The 4 Rod Set includes four alarms, four covers and one receiver. Choose by the number of rods you want to monitor. The larger sets add alarms and covers, while each set still includes one receiver. RX+ alarm heads and the RX+ Receiver are also available separately.
Digital circuitry, the D-Tec™ Plus Sensing System (DTSS) and a CNC-machined Tru-Run™ roller wheel provide the detection system. Intelligent Sensitivity offers eight indexed settings with See-Saw elimination to reduce false indications. This lets you adjust sensitivity for conditions such as wind and current. Volume has eight indexed levels, including a completely silent lowest setting. The cone speaker also has eight tone settings, with clockwise adjustment raising the pitch and anticlockwise adjustment lowering it.
Twin multi-colour LEDs offer red, green, blue, orange, purple and white. The on/off toggle selects day or night operation. In night mode, both LEDs glow subtly in your chosen colour so the alarm remains visible after dark. A range-test function checks whether the RX+ Receiver picks up an alarm at your chosen position. No fixed transmission distance is specified.
Each alarm has a rigid 3/8-inch stainless steel thread for mounting on a bankstick, rod pod or buzzer bar. Rubber inlays protect the rod blank. Compared with the NTX-R, the ears are deeper without increasing the alarm height. Rigid and soft compression washer options are supplied, along with a spare soft washer per alarm. The 2.5 mm power-out socket supports illuminated Swingers.
The digital receiver has a cone speaker, on/off and volume control, a vibration alarm, a bivvy-light function and an anti-theft alarm. Rear switches control vibration, the bivvy light and RX+ Micron registration, allowing the alarms and receiver to be paired. Vibration provides another way to notice a bite signal.
At switch-on, four green LEDs indicate full receiver batteries, three green LEDs indicate used batteries that do not yet need replacing, two orange LEDs indicate weak batteries and one red LED means replacement is due. Cyan indicates a low-battery warning on the alarms or receiver. The receiver also reports low battery voltage in a paired alarm, helping you identify when either part of the system needs attention.
Each alarm requires two AA batteries and the receiver requires three AA batteries. Batteries are not included. The alarms have low battery drain and weatherproof sealed cases for wet, cold bankside conditions. Keep rubber socket seals in place whenever the sockets are unused to maintain water resistance.
Use recommended batteries and accessories. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended. Keep batteries away from heat, do not puncture or incinerate them and follow local recycling guidance. Avoid activating LEDs or speakers close to human or animal eyes and ears. Keep the equipment out of children's reach and protect it from drops and heavy impacts.
