The supplier lists freshwater pike, zander and perch, with surface trolling, slow bottom jigging and fishing around structure as uses. Its tail starts at very low retrieve speeds, so you can work it slowly. Golden Wels offers visibility in fading light and murky water, and clear-water use is also specified.
Yes. The chin loop accepts Fox Rage Tungsten Chin weights to fish deeper or change the sinking behaviour, including in stronger current. Select compatible chin weights for that adjustment rather than relying on a fixed running depth, which is not specified.
Each pack contains one soft lure in the selected size, with an internal hook support frame and a sharp belly treble already fitted. You do not need to rig a bare soft body before fishing. The stated pack contents do not list chin weights.

The Fox Rage Ultra Realistic Replicant Catfish is a soft lure with a lifelike catfish body in Golden Wels. Designed for freshwater pike, zander and perch, its curling tail starts working even at very slow retrieve speeds. This lets you slow the presentation without needing a fast retrieve to activate the tail.
The golden colour offers visibility in fading light and murky water, including dusk and overcast conditions. The supplier also specifies use in clear water. The realistic body provides a fish-shaped presentation for pressured waters.
Use it for surface trolling along banks and edges, slow bottom jigging for zander in deeper areas, or targeting perch around structure. The same tail action supports both slow retrieves and jigging presentations.
An internal hook support frame holds a sharp belly treble in place, so the lure comes ready rigged rather than as a bare soft-plastic body. The chin loop accepts Fox Rage Tungsten Chin weights. These let you fish deeper or adjust the sinking behaviour, including when working deeper water or stronger current. No fixed running depth or sinking speed is specified.
All three versions share the Golden Wels colour, catfish shape, tail action and chin-weight compatibility. Size, weight and hook size change together:
Length | Weight | Hook size |
|---|---|---|
10 cm | 20 g | 6 |
15 cm | 51 g | 1 |
20 cm | 102 g | 1/0 |
Choose the 10 cm version for the smallest, lightest presentation, the 15 cm version for the middle size, or the 20 cm version for the largest profile. Increasing size also increases lure weight, so match the chosen version to your tackle's lure-weight rating rather than treating the three sizes as interchangeable. Each pack contains one soft lure in the selected size.
