It is designed for smaller deadbaits under a float. The ready-to-fish trace uses one barbed Powerpoint treble, making unhooking easier because there is only one hook to remove. It is not a barbless rig.
Only the treble size changes, with size 4 larger than size 6. Both use 52 cm of 40lb (approximately 18.14 kg) coated 49-strand steel wire. Choose the hook size to suit your bait without changing the leader length or strength.
The mainline connection is a size 7 Diamond Swivel. Each pack contains one finished trace with its treble and swivel, so select the required hook size when ordering.

The Float Trace is a ready-to-fish steel leader for presenting smaller deadbaits under a float. A single barbed Powerpoint treble holds the bait, with just one hook to deal with when unhooking.
Each trace is 52 cm long and made from strong, supple 49-strand coated steel wire rated at 40lb (approximately 18.14 kg). The camo finish keeps the leader unobtrusive in the presentation. A size 7 Diamond Swivel provides the connection to your mainline.
Choose size 4 for the larger treble or size 6 for the smaller treble to suit your bait. Both versions are designed for smaller baits under a float and have the same wire construction, length and strength. The choice changes hook size, not leader strength, and both hooks are barbed.
You receive one finished trace in the selected hook size, complete with its Powerpoint treble and Diamond Swivel. It comes in eco-friendly cardboard packaging.
