Pick 40lb (0.34mm, 18kg) for lighter lures and balanced casting with typical predator gear. Choose 60lb (0.41mm, 27kg) when targeting bigger pike, casting larger lures, or fishing heavy cover where extra strength and abrasion resistance matter.
It is a floating braid, which helps with topwater presentations, line mending and keeping slack visible on the surface.
Each spool holds 300m of line with a marker at 150m, so two reels can be loaded evenly from a single spool.

The Fox Rage Predator Elite Braid is an 8-strand floating braided line (PE) engineered specifically for pike and other predator species. A microbond weave and a slightly increased diameter give it improved abrasion resistance for hard-fighting fish and snag-filled swims.
Eight strands are woven into a round profile with a tight microbond weave. The result is a smooth, consistent line that casts cleanly and holds up to repeated contact with weed, timber and toothy predators.
This braid floats, which helps with line mending, topwater lure control and keeping slack visible on the surface.
Available in two breaking strains: 40lb (18kg, 0.34mm) and 60lb (27kg, 0.41mm). Each spool carries 300m of line with a handy marker at 150m, so two reels can be loaded evenly from a single spool.
