It is designed for fishing deadbaits overdepth for pike. The long, sensitive pencil body will often rise on a bite, so watch for upward movement as well as the float going under.
Yes. The orange tip insert can be removed to hold a starlight for night fishing. You receive one float in the chosen size, but no starlight, so obtain the light separately if you want to use that feature.
They are the two offered sizes, with Xtra Large also listed as XL. Large has a stated 20g rating, but no gram rating is supplied for Xtra Large. Choose the named size without transferring the Large rating to XL. Both have the same bite-visibility features and starlight-compatible tip.
The float combines a bright orange tip with a black band. The band specifically helps make bites easier to spot in bright conditions, giving you a contrast marker to watch as the float moves.

The Deadbait Pencil is a float for presenting deadbaits overdepth when pike fishing. Its long, pencil-shaped body is strong yet sensitive, and the float will often rise on a bite. This makes lift bites an important signal to watch for rather than looking only for the float to disappear.
A bright orange tip makes the float visible, while the black band helps you spot bites in bright conditions. For night fishing, remove the orange tip insert and fit a starlight in its place. The starlight is not included, so you will need one separately to use this option.
The range offers Large and Xtra Large sizes. Large is listed with a 20g rating, while Xtra Large is identified as XL in the supplier specifications without a stated gram rating. Choose by the stated size, and do not assume the Large rating also applies to Xtra Large. Both sizes share the overdepth presentation, sensitive body and removable tip insert. Each variant contains one float.
