Jig Silk is intended for freshwater spinning and jigging on perch, pike and zander. Its zero-stretch eight-strand braid gives direct lure and bite feedback, so choose the diameter and breaking strain to match your lure-fishing setup.
Diameter and breaking strain increase together, from 0.08mm 12lb to 0.27mm 48lb, approximately 5.44 to 21.77 kg. Construction, coating and fluorescent green colour are shared. Choose a thinner version for a finer line or a thicker version for a higher rated breaking strain.
The soft, round braid has a smooth, water-repellent coating that reduces friction through the rod rings. This supports longer, quieter casts and provides abrasion resistance, making the coating relevant to both casting and line durability.
The supplier specifies high colour retention and UV resistance, reducing easy fading and colour transfer rather than guaranteeing permanent colour. The fluorescent green remains easy to follow during repeated use, helping you monitor the line's path.
Store and use the line responsibly, especially around children. The supplier warns of a strangulation hazard from accidental entanglement, so keep loose line controlled during handling and storage.

Fox Rage Jig Silk is an eight-strand braided line for freshwater spinning and jigging on perch, pike and zander. Its zero-stretch construction transmits lure contact and bites directly, helping you detect light takes and set the hook.
The soft, round WHMWPE braid is tightly woven from 32 fibres for high tensile and knot strength. Its smooth surface lets the line run freely through the rod rings, with reduced friction and quieter casting. The smooth, water-repellent coating improves casting distance and provides abrasion resistance.
The fluorescent green colour helps you follow the line's path during lure fishing. High colour retention and UV resistance reduce fading and colour transfer, keeping the line visible with repeated use.
All eight versions share the same construction, coating and colour. The differences are diameter and breaking strain. From thinnest to thickest, the supplier specifications are 0.08mm 12lb (approximately 5.44 kg), 0.10mm 15lb (6.8 kg), 0.13mm 20lb (9.07 kg), 0.15mm 24lb (10.89 kg), 0.17mm 29lb (13.15 kg), 0.21mm 35lb (15.88 kg), 0.23mm 40lb (18.14 kg) and 0.27mm 48lb (21.77 kg).
The thinner versions offer a finer line for lure presentation, while the thicker versions increase the rated breaking strain. Choose the diameter and strength to match your intended setup, rather than treating every size as interchangeable.
Fishing line presents a strangulation hazard. Store and use it responsibly, especially around children, to prevent accidental entanglement.
