It is intended for jigging and reel-driven lift-and-drop retrieves with softbaits for pike, zander, perch and other predators. The integrated baitkeeper secures the lure even during powerful casts, so the hook size and weight are the main variant choices for your softbait setup.
Choose the hook size to fit the softbait body and the weight for the desired sink behaviour. Sizes run from #1 to #6/0, with available weights from 3.5g to 25g, but not every size comes in every weight. For example, 15g is available with #1/0, #2/0, #5/0 or #6/0, letting you keep the weight while changing hook size.
Yes, the large attachment eye is specifically described as suitable for snap closures on heavy swivels. This supports that connection type, but no eye dimensions are supplied, so check the fit of your particular snap rather than assuming universal compatibility.
Each selected variant contains one jig hook in the chosen size and weight. A softbait is not listed in the contents, so select the lure separately to suit the hook size.

The Fox Rage Jig Head X is a jig head for active predator fishing with softbaits. It supports jigging and a lift-and-drop retrieve driven by turns of the reel handle, known as Faulenzen, for pike, zander, perch and other predators. An integrated baitkeeper holds the softbait securely, including during powerful casts.
The hook has a very strong, sturdy construction. Its large attachment eye accommodates the snap closures on heavy swivels, making it suitable for those connections without relying on a small eye.
The available combinations are hook size #1 at 3.5g, 7g or 10g, #1/0 at 7g or 15g, #2/0 at 5g, 15g or 25g, #4/0 at 5g, #5/0 at 15g or 20g, and #6/0 at 15g. Match the hook size to your softbait body, then choose the weight for the desired sink behaviour. A larger hook does not necessarily mean a heavier head. For example, the 5g versions offer #2/0 or #4/0, while the 15g versions offer four hook sizes. Where the same hook size has several weights, you can change head weight without changing hook size.
Each variant includes one jig hook in the selected size and weight. The stated contents do not include a softbait.
