The supplier recommends a size 2/0 offset hook for Texas, Carolina and drop-shot rigs. The belly slot accommodates offset mounting, while a traditional jig hook or lure rig is also suitable for jigging. Choose the mounting to suit your intended presentation.
It supports jigging, steady retrieves and soft jerking. For the bottom-focused stop-and-go method, let the rig sink to the bottom, pause, retrieve 1–2 m and let it sink again. You can vary the retrieve without switching to another lure model.

The Fox Rage Chatter Tail combines a twister and shad with a small hammer tail. This 10 cm softbait is intended for pike, zander, perch, black bass and trout. Its belly slot accommodates offset hooks, letting you use the same lure on Texas, Carolina and drop-shot rigs as well as for soft jerking.
The supplier recommends a size 2/0 offset hook. The belly slot is designed for this mounting option, but it does not restrict you to offset rigs. The Chatter Tail can also be jigged on a lure rig or a traditional jig hook.
Work the lure with short lifts when jigging or use a steady retrieve. For a stop-and-go bottom retrieve, cast out, let the rig reach the bottom, pause briefly, retrieve 1–2 m and let it sink back to the bottom. These options let you change presentation without changing lure model.
Like the other lures in the Fish Snax family, the Chatter Tail contains real fish oil. The supplier states that this encourages fish to hold the lure longer, giving you more time to set the hook.
