Choose the 2 Rod Set for two rods, the 3 Rod Set for three or the 4 Rod Set for four. They contain two, three or four alarms respectively, each with one MX Receiver and a transport case. The functions are the same, so choose by the number of rods you need to monitor.
Batteries are not included. Each alarm needs 2 x AAA and the receiver needs 3 x AA. Buy four, six or eight AAA batteries for the 2, 3 or 4 Rod Set respectively, plus three AA batteries for any set. Do not mix battery types or old and new cells, and note that rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
The receiver's four LED panels automatically synchronise with the alarm colours. Each alarm offers red, orange, green, blue, purple or white, selected with the rear rubber button. Different colours help distinguish the rods, and the compact receiver can stand beside you or hang from its attachment eye.
You can choose between two sensitivity settings and adjust volume and tone using indexed dials. The three-position switch controls power and sensitivity, and start up is silent. This lets you set detection sensitivity and the sound of the indication separately, while the receiver has its own volume control.

The Micron MX 2 Rod Set contains two alarms and one receiver, the Micron MX 3 Rod Set contains three alarms and one receiver, and the Micron MX 4 Rod Set contains four alarms and one receiver. Choose according to the number of rods you intend to monitor. The alarm and receiver features are shared across all three sets, so the difference is the number of alarms supplied. Each alarm also comes with a hard case.
Each alarm has a high-visibility 4mm multi-coloured LED with a choice of red, orange, green, blue, purple or white. Change the colour using the rubber touch button on the rear. The receiver's four LED panels automatically synchronise with the alarm colours, helping you distinguish the rods at the receiver.
