Matrix X Coated Distance Braid is an eight-strand braided line developed for feeder fishing for coarse fish. Its very low stretch helps transmit bites clearly, particularly when fishing at distance. Good casting properties support long casts, while the durable outer coating reduces the risk of wind knots during powerful casts.
The line combines a smooth finish with a highly abrasion-resistant coating to protect the surface against wear. The coating reduces wind-knot risk rather than eliminating it.
All three variants contain 150 m of line and share the same construction and coating. Choose 0.08 mm with a 5.0 kg breaking strain for the smallest diameter in the range. The 0.10 mm version offers 6.2 kg, while 0.12 mm offers 7.5 kg. Moving up the range increases breaking strain at the cost of a larger diameter, so compare both figures with the requirements of your feeder setup.
