These two-piece carp rods combine casting power with a cushioning playing action to help reduce hook pulls. Ultra high modulus Torayca® carbon and Nanoalloy® Technology produce a strong, light, thin blank with rapid recovery for fishing distant spots.
Multidirectional layers of thin carbon cloth and nanofibre are electro-bonded during curing using Nanoalloy® Technology and interlaminar resin. Reinforced carbon power joints and a 1k carbon wrap complete the construction. Lightweight American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides, from a 50 mm butt guide to a 16 mm tip guide, support distance casting. Fox also describes these guides as helping with Spomb or spod baiting, but provides no casting-weight rating for these variants.
The Fuji 18 mm DPS reel seat has a gunsmoke finish. Japanese shrink-wrap handle grips provide the full-shrink handle finish, paired with understated cosmetics.
