It is an extension and overwrap for the Fox Frontier II, not a standalone shelter. It adds 1.5 m of space and covers the bivvy with a twin skin, so choose it as an addition to your Frontier II setup. Compatibility with other bivvies is not specified.
CUM382 is the Camo Deluxe Extension, while CUM381 is the Deluxe Extension. Both measure 150 x 250 x 145 cm, weigh 11.50 kg and have the same stated fabric and panel options. Choose by the Camo designation rather than expecting a difference in space or weight.
Yes. Removing the four rear panels changes full coverage to cap-style coverage. Side and front panels can be removed or swapped for mosquito mesh, and the front has clear PVC and solid door options. You can therefore select enclosed coverage, mesh panels or a door with a view as conditions change.
A heavy-duty groundsheet is included, and the extension attaches with Velcro straps and a D-Loop system. Each version weighs 11.50 kg and has a folded length of 121 cm, so account for this additional load and length alongside your bivvy when planning transport.
Use storm cords and all pegging points, but do not use the shelter in storms, under trees or during electrical thunderstorms, and do not stay in a damaged bivvy or in extreme weather. Keep flames, stoves and flammable materials outside. Use cleaners intended for breathable tents or bivvies with PVC doors and apply breathable impregnation spray annually to maintain the fabric.

The Fox Frontier II Deluxe Extension is a bivvy extension and overwrap for longer carp fishing sessions. It adds 1.5 m of space, creating a shaded front area, and forms a full twin-skin wrap around the bivvy to improve insulation and reduce condensation. It is an addition to the Frontier II, not a standalone shelter.
The rear fully covers the bivvy. All four rear panels can be removed to change from full coverage to cap-style coverage. The side and front panels are also fully removable or interchangeable with mosquito-mesh options, allowing you to choose between enclosed coverage and mesh panels. The front offers clear PVC and solid door options, so you can choose visibility or a closed-off entrance.
A heavy-duty groundsheet is included. The extension attaches using Velcro straps and a D-Loop system for quick, secure setup.
The two versions are Frontier II Deluxe Extension (CUM381) and Frontier II Camo Deluxe Extension (CUM382). Choose CUM382 for the Camo version. Both have the same stated dimensions, weight, polyester fabric and panel options, so the supplied specifications indicate no space or weight trade-off between them. No other bivvy compatibility is specified.
Each extension measures 150 cm long, 250 cm wide and 145 cm high and weighs 11.50 kg. Allow for that weight and a folded length of 121 cm when planning transport. The folded height is 20 cm. The fabric is 100% polyester.
Secure the setup with storm cords and all pegging points. Do not use it in storms, under trees or during electrical thunderstorms, where collapse, falling debris and lightning are risks. Do not remain in a bivvy during extreme weather or after physical damage. Keep open flames, stoves and flammable materials out of the shelter.
Clean only with products intended for breathable tents or bivvies with PVC doors. Apply a breathable impregnation spray annually to help maintain the material and limit ageing.
