They are designed for inline self-hooking carp rigs. The compact shape and low centre of gravity help the weight act quickly on the hook when the fish picks up the rig. They also support semi-fixed drop-off use, with a side groove to recess the leader.
Choose from 42 g, 56 g, 70 g, 85 g, 100 g, 113 g and 142 g. Each pack contains 10 leads of one selected weight. Shape, coating and stated insert compatibility are shared across the family, so select the weight your rig needs rather than expecting a mixed-weight pack.
The rubber inserts accept size 7 and size 10 swivels and support drop-off use. Rings and Quick Change swivel eyes can sit partly concealed in the insert while remaining free to move. The side groove recesses the leader for a semi-fixed drop-off setup, so the lead can accommodate that arrangement as well as inline use.
The standard rubber insert pulls out of the lead, allowing leaders, tubing and knots to slide through it. This provides a passage through the lead rather than trapping those rig components inside. It is the stated safety feature, not a guarantee of safety for every rig configuration.
